As you have found your way to this page I guess that you also have a love for the small cute beings called amigurumi. 

I made my first one nearly 20 years ago. It was a lynx with its characteristic tufts of hair on the tip of the ears. At that time I did not know the word “amigurumi” (and I am not sure if it existed). The years passed by, the crochet hooks were not used very much. Until I one day saw some pictures of amigurumi. After that the crochet hooks are used more often.
